3" sportex backbox

just ordered myself a 3" sportex backbox for my 2001 vtr the car is pretty much completely standard engine wise apart from an induction kit. I was just wondering if anyone else with the same back box knows if its gonna be really loud or really quiet the induction kit already makes a nice bit of noise on its own.

any idea of how loud would be appreciated, ordered it anyway was just wondering? :)

I used to have just the 3" backbox and it sounded great mate, lasted about 3 years as well which is great considering it's mild steel. Just the backbox alone doesn't make a massive difference to sound really, just sounds a bit more "sporty"

A catback wont be much louder, it really depends how you drive the car. If the CAT is removed then yes, it will be considerably noisier everywhere.

ah right cheers guys got a rough sorta idea now aslong as it dont sound as boring as standard motor or its too loud im happy :P
