What sort of bhp gains will i be looking at without a map and then with a map i will buy if its a decnet cam for good gains i want a cam that runs lumpy on idol when fitted and better when mapped basically i want a cam with decent noticable gains with or without a map i no the ph3 is a good cam for the vtr but just want to no if this will just be as good basically any info i can get on a cam that will good for my vtr but really intrest in this cam thanks any replys i will be greatfull

That cam wont fit your engine. Its for heads with the larger bearings

the black top bearing size is different to xsi/rallye so that advert is misleading

Aye I just skim read it and seen fits rallye xsi and vtr. Definatley misleading!

Same misleading bearing size stuff too. Also only 9.9mm lift? I'm sure the rallye J cam is 10.1 might be wrong there though

Aye, dont know why it says it fits rallye/xsi and vtr? The bearing diameter on the ad is for the rallye/xsi heads. Also the catcams 645 has above 11mm of lift IIRC, so I dont think the rallye cam is 10mm.


For the OP you need a cam like this:

They dont seem to stock the newmans ph3 anymore.
