Hi guys I have just blown my head gasket on my vtr:/ the clutch was going any way so I've decided tomdoma conversion and put a vts/106 gti lump in!
Just wondering of there is any good info/tips when doing this ??
I have a 3 plug ecu at the moment but can I use a 1 plug of I get engine and loom together? Also do I need to change drive shafts? Thanks

Have a look through the forum it's covered daily.
Would also help if you use the search button (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/search.php?searchid=6571241).

Most useless piece of advice.

Yet again if you search it's there I remember a topic on this. You will need to find a changeover 'crossover' loom, failing that fit the new engine with the single plug ecu/loom and cut off the multiplug connecter and join the 1.1 block on, also change sensors.
