where can i get big end bearings that will fit my catcams forged conrods as standed ones wont fit, as the little locater on standed ones is on the wrong side thanks

sounds like you have incorrect big end shells --
are these rods for std pistons 19.46mm or small piston pin 18mm for kit cars pistons

standed mate, the locaters are on opersite sides no one i ask has had this problem before?

If you feel rods are wrong take it up with the CAT dealer you bought rids from

thats the trouble been sold them on axoc as catcam rods now been in contact with cat cam and told they aint catcam! will have to claim throught paypal

They couldnt have been catcam rods for £400 new anyway!

He is so dodgy, 2nd set off rods that i have had that are wrong just my luck

Why would you want cat cam rods... Bin fodder.

Looks like mine are the same as this too, can't send them back either. Major ball-ache.
Any suggestions with regards to having some custom bearings made up?
Im guessing its not possible to have the rods machined to suit either.

if the bore of the rod is the correct size then adding the small notch wouldn't be an issue.
what's the bore size of the big end?

They're down the unit so can't measure just now. I'll find out and post up. Would having a suppose groove not cause an issue though? I thought as a part of the bearing to rod would have a gap. Balancing etc?
