Just lately my Westcoast seems to have an on/off problem with cutting out on low revs. Some days it is fine yet other days it will cut out every time you come to a junction or sometimes when changing gear. It also has the odd mad moment when it revs between 200 and 300 rpm. Very frustrating!

Have been having a browse round on here and think it might be the ICV needs cleaning, but thought I'd ask before I drag the tool box out of the shed and start taking it apart.

giving the icv a clean is the cheapest thing to try, it's also quite likely the cause. Give it a go and then come back if you need other suggestions, a crap idle can be caused by pretty much anything! Good luck mate, hope it's a cheap and easy fix!

Managed to get around to cleaning the ICV at last......It was minging!! No longer cutting out.
Keeps over-reving a bit, but I do the turning key to second position thingy a few times and it sorts it out.
