Hi guys, I'm new here, but i have a question. I have a Saxo 1.4 VTS Tu3jp engine, now i want to have an 1.6 16v engine. What do i need for this? New Ecu? New Wiring?

You need a saxo vts, far simpler to just buy one, insurance will be cheaper than fitting a 1.6 16v to your car.
you need 1.6 16v engine, wiring loom, ecu, brakes.

Yes i've done it to mine.
You need a loom that is the same plug as your current on i.e at the ecu 3 plug or single.
You'll need a unlocked ecu make sure it is unlocked or you get a headache.
The engine and sensors ofc,
A clucth and new cambelt kit is near enough a must as they rarely come with service history.
Your Gearbox and driveshafts can be used but you may want to get a Vts box for better ratios
Brakes are not really a must i ran my conversion with furio brakes for a good 8-9 months until i upgraded to 283mm brakes, i only changed because new pads and disks was due or i would have just left them.

vts, vtr & furio brakes are all 247mm no??
just drums on back of the furio but decent drums are as good as disks really.
