it runs a drives but lacks power i.e u can not get it to wheelspin and have to leave it in gear for a lot longer than you shud to get some speed up

Elaborate could be a 101 things, do basic stuff first check plugs, you getting enough fuel, you got good compression.

I, not too sure what you are trying to get across, but maybe you are expecting too much from a car that is designed to be revved high?

il will put it a different way. my mrs stander 1.3 ka is faster :( id say the vts has a 0-60 time of 25 secs and sounds like is missing im new to french cars only ever had a 106 but that was the mrs and didnt rate it much.
i will get the plugs out and give full inspection today only picked the car up last night was dark and raining and i was tired lol

there must be somthing wrong if is takes 25 seconds to get to 60!! i recently got my first saxo also a vts and its getting to 60 in well under 8seconds! it will probuly be worth getting a mechanic to check everything and go from there but to be hounst from what you've said its might be worth just gettin rid of it and finding another vts!
