Hello, new to the saxo scene so apologies if this is the wrong section, but I have just sold my 91 Mini and bought this lovely VTR but have no idea when/if the cam belt was done. Does anyone in the Stourbridge area know of a garage which does a good job for a reasonable price and know roughly how much I will be paying?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

The VTR is really easy to do a cam belt change. I'm in Birmingham if you want a hand with it.

Yeah have a go yourself, its really simple. The TU is easy to do this job on as you can get to the crank pulley without having to remove a huge pulley bolt like some engines.

Lol, I would take you up on the offer but I've got too much going on at the moment but what I meant was I'd give you a hand / a bit of advice with DIY. It really is that simple, first time round it will probably take you a couple of hours, if you do the water pump too.
