I've looked at so many. I've whittled it down to a few...
Supersprint 2" race system
Power flow system
Saxsport 2" race system
Opinions? Go.

I'd never even consider fitting a powerflow to any of my cars.

powerflows tend to be rubbish. just stainless pipe welded onto a standard mid pipe with a tip for £250 usually. the tips can look nice, but they dont flow well and certainly arent tested over and over for performance.
ive had both, saxsport was really really good quality, did 40,000 and still looked new with a polish and it doesnt attract attention!
whereas, the supersprint though looks the best looks like a rally pipe, and people often ask if you have a rally exhaust on the car, fine, unless its a police man.
both with a 4/2/1 scream!! properly, noisy if you dont have a centre silencer.
may be placebo, but i felt the supersprint made the car feel quicker than the saxsport. sounded the best, the saxsport was abit zinggy if thats a word?
supersprint wasnt stainless, got rusty after 20k or so, no big deal.
your call, both brilliantly suited to a saxo. its evo vs subaru debate. some say one, some the other, no real defining argument.

With regards to the rusty SS. Go for Kamracing as it's stainless.
And I think that last line sums it up spot on :y:

If you're sad like me just clean the backbox :zainy: It will rust anyway inside out but it will keep the outside of it clean if you dont want it looking rusty..
Go for stainless..

Think it's decided, will be going for the 2" kam racing stainless steel system!
I pick my VTS up on Sunday (bough it off here), so after Christmas I have a few plans :)

loud, expensive and not a great fit. Fabled in their absence but no-one bought them when they were in production..

Thats interesting, I've not looked into the OMP zorst, just assumed it would be good quality.
Makes sense why hardly any about then.
Thoughts on BTB while we're discussing brands etc? Another one rated highly on here, but one I have no experience with.

seen a few omps
stupidly loud
kinda why i want one lmao :P

The OMP were ok, but they were rally exhaust systems where db limits were high. I'd say the saxo would tip 100 db with one so you are not going to get near a track. We found they often needed work to fit them to the manifold etc as they did not come with flanges. A bit of welding to sort but its a job you don't want to do.
The reason no-ones seen them is they have been discontinued since 2009.
lol @ alex. We could make you one just as loud.

haha tbh guys i like getting on track
allready a little worried for noise limits next year first "test fires" are about 87 db at 2.5/3k revs :/
8.2k limit i think im boned

Edwards Motorsport ftw.
I've fitted an OMP to a 205 with a mate, needed the hangers chopping and welding to make it fit properly!
Kev, please don't sell loud exhausts, banish the chavs!
KamRacing

Theres always a way to sort the noise!
AlexB
29th November 2012, 11:35
there are but they will add restrictions in the system
im guessing it may level off up the revs but no way of knowing till i can get it up there
KamRacing
29th November 2012, 11:46
in reality it probably will not restrict by that much. You might lose 1 bhp with a bigger mid silencer, maybe less :D

inlet noise though is a different ball game thats my issue

I ran one for years. If I were doing it again id still buy one. But then I cannot stand the wet fart sounding pea shooters everyone on here bums.

my only gripe with btb is the sheer weight of the system

seen jps exhaust im consdering going to mike for my next setup as i need it to go over the gearbox to allow space for other things
welshpug
29th November 2012, 14:46
I doubt there is space to do that, unless you have a C2, or its just the downpipe, but it'll be wiggly as fook !
AlexB
29th November 2012, 14:50
its going to be tight yea
but im thinking with a cable shift BE i can run the cables elsewhere and create a little space that way rather than linkages
