Replacing Cam Belt, any heads up ?

So,

Will be replacing cam belt in the week, as i bought the car with a new speedo so god knows how much mileage its gone, i will be checking water pump is ok too. also replacing the tensioner.

Any heads up on this ?? anything i should look for or be careful with ?

Have a search and check the stickers, it's pretty straightforward.

Which engine? 8v easy as pie, 16v a little more involved but still pretty simple.
Just read the guides a few times, take your time and double check everything if you're in doubt. :y:

For the price just replace the water pump at the same time whilst its apart.

thanks guys, its a 8v. I'll give it ago and see how i get on :).. I shall price up water pump and if its not to pricey i shall do it unless the one on there looks quite new.
