Thanks for all the replies on the original post, got it sorted but its making a whirring noise, doesn't increase with engine noise and I wouldn't describe it as a whine more of a whir/humming
Heres a link to the noise. (Ignore the knocking noise I left the wipers on -.-, may have to turn volume up max as youtube has made the video quieter for some reason)

Sure the cover is on properly? Have seen them slightly catch the pulley if not on correctly before and that makes a bit of a whirring noise.

Can't hear a thing on your video other than a clunking :(
Your noise could be: belt rubbing against plastic cover or over-tightened belt or something else...
Just my thoughts

I'll take a look at the cover tomorrow, just was a bit strange as it made no noise for the first 3 days after the belt was done, but now it won't stop making it. Cheers for the replies

my guerss is you have it too tight
remove cover and check tension when engine is hot --it will be aot tighter when hot due to head expansion

That makes sense as it makes the noise more once the engine gets warm, cheers

Thanks for all the replies, took to garage as cam belt seemed fine, turned out the fan belt was too tight, garage sprayed some grease down there and it stopped so they adjusted it and no noise at all now.
Cheers!

They needed to spray grease on the fan belt to diagnose a 'tight belt'?
Really? Or have I read that wrong?

fixed your wipers yet?
Haha no, whoever changed them prior to me owning it has put a massively too big wiper on the drivers side that hits the passenger one all the time :wall:
