Not sure if right thread but i got power steering problems lol

Right here we go ive just been given a 1.4 saxo mk 1 west coast and it had been stood for about a year not started or anything so i get it running and theres no power steering ive checked for leaks and it has fluid does anyone have any ideas why this could be or how to fix it? :wall:

Check ur power steering pump and might be wise to change the fluids

Hit the pump with something, a bar or similar. Its probably jammed up. Obviously check fuses/relays/connections first.
And no its in the wrong section.
