So I was out driving and suddenly hear a sound which sounded like something had ripped apart or some air flow was wrong. Had a look under the bonnet and I believe it's the Lambda Sensor.

Local parts retailer are saying £60 so wondering which certain sensor am I after so I can have a look online and see if available, get it cheaper?

Thanks.

I have, when I got it checked at a garage the guy told me the threads have gone on it too.

If the threads have gone on it, I wouldn't be surprised if its ruined the manifold aswell, either way I wouldn't pay less for a lambda tbh. You'll just end up with some crap.

I'm getting it double checked tomorrow so see what happens.

Got an image of what the Manifold with threads would look like?

Take that silver cover off and underneath is the manifold... If you see the hole and it has no threads, you could get it re threaded or, as said new manifold..

Got it sorted, bought a new sensor and got the manifold re-threaded. What a huge difference the sensor makes.

or buy a boss (£6) and get it weldeded onto your manifold + fit new probe
no way will you rethread the old hole ==its already to big
having said that a s/h cast manifold from scrappy will be about £20 or less
