have i brought the right engine loom with pics?

brought this of some over on 106 oc , is it the right loom for my mk1 vtr 1998 , being converted with a gti engine ? he said he wasent sure if its a vts loom or gti but its deffo single plug wich is a good start

I would say that is a gti loom as its certainly no saxo loom i have ever seen.

that is a 106 gti loom mate but will work on your vtr anyway as the looms will need splicing the grey plug is just for the oil temp/level on the dash gauge which on the vtr doesn't have them. You'll be fine just get someone good to do the looms and you want have problems at all

sound pal , so can i chop the grey plug off ? and also jason from ilkeston autocare is doing my conversion so do you think he will be able to sort it ?

as said thats a GTI loom matey. Will need that splicing if you want it to fit i imagine jason can splice it for you
