Running one on my 106, the carbon box came broken but they sent me a new one free of charge , the standard filter is crap so i changed it imediately to a green twin cone filter

But now that its set up properly gives a induction sound and looks sweet and can tell the difference between it and OEM

the filter looks like its crap, but i doubt you would even notice a difference between it and the obligatory BMC/green alternative.
It will make lots of noise which i guess is what your after.

Doubt it, just noise. Placebo effect.

On an otherwise stock GTi, you will probably gain next to nothing...
Save your hard earned money.

As said on a fairly stock gti a decent panel filter in the existing airbox will be your best bet for performance and is fairly cheap in comparison, no change in noise though

Just dont expect a panel filter / air intake on a Saxo to suddenly turn it into a world beater,
They've never made a blind bit of difference to any of mine in the past. Just wanted them for noise really.

Yeah I didn't notice any performance difference on mine either, but just hoped it actually let it breath slightly easier, which you can sort of see when you compare the two together

Open cones do change the exhaust note a shit load though, couldn't believe how different my super sprintsounded after iI put on a piper cross.

As above, only buy one if you want more noise, performance wise induction kits do f**k all tbh

well mine definitely uses more fuel with it on no noticeable speed difference though, worth it just for the sound it makes with my pugsport tho :y:
