Just seen on ebay a chip that you connect to the air flow sensor and apparrntly adds 30+ bhp. Personally I dont believe it, has anybody hsd any expirience with them and is it worth getting?

Do not go anywhere near that shit. Avoid.

Those chips are about as useful as McD's french fries.

"Up to 30BHP", which covers their arses when you get a gain that is so little it can't be seen.

The advert should tell you to stay away when it uses the word incresement.

Nice, a microchip with only 2 wires...

So you're powering up a chip, that's loosing you power! (approx 9.4x10^-4 HP)

I love the fact the IC is mounted on a bread board, It's such high quality they didn't even need to use a PCB.

And if you add the T-t-t-turbonatorrr (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DUAL-TURBONATOR-TURBO-COLD-AIR-INTAKE-FUEL-SAVER-FAN-/260607445197) , you will get a even more POWER! And on top of that, YOU WILL SAVE FUEL!!! How awesome is that!

I can work out rough BHP (for FWD) at the fly if you know the 0-60 and the mass of the car :y:

fuck your rolling roads y0! just need a stop watch.

MuZiZZle

can you work out my 0-60 from weight & bhp at the fly then?

I should do, I guess, it won't be very accurate though :P and of course, depends on tyres, gearbox etc.

Mine is way simpler than torque stats too ;)

Torque stats doesn't like small figures either. for example, it won't work out the 0-60 for a 1.1 saxo or a citroen AX.
