just dun an engine convertion on my saxo vtr to a vts! my speedo dosent work but my rev counter dose and it revs to 7500 on my vtr clocks? bit confused really :S any help would be gd

Think its that the VTS revs to about 7350 anyway and the rev counter naturally over reads a touch

mine revs to 725 on the clock! mine doesnt over read! if its a conversion did you get it from an ex converted car by any chance? if you did id check things like cams for a part number as it shouldnt rev that high unless it has a superchip or has had a remap

As said abiove the rev counter is probably over reading

oo ok well iv got vtr clocks and it revs right into the red take it this is because there vtr clocks and not vts!

yes, the VTS red lines at about 7 grand

When you think your clocks are an indication of your revs and speed if its not calibrated then it will read wrong
I'm sure of it !!!!
