THIS IS NOT SAXO RELATED, but I'm guessing most cars are the same in behaviour.

The car is a R reg Ford KA, the problems are as follows:

When driving everynow and again when you change gear or try to pull away the car chugs, struggles and shakes. The KA doesn't have a rev counter so Im unsure to what rev this happens, but after a second or two it starts to pull again as normal? My friend said it could be a Blocked breather, split vacuum pipe or tps sensor? I havn't a clue what they are but it sounds fun?

The second problem is at traffic lights, or even sometimes when you push the clutch down to put it into 1st the car dies, like you've stalled it but it does it on its own, now I had a wild guess and thought about the Idle valve, but I'm unsure if im correct...

Cheers for the help in advance.

My sisters KA had a similar problem and it was a cracked spark plug
