Hi people. Is a bmc all it's cracked up to be? Will one off of a furio fit a vtr? And are all of them labeled in some way with bmc? Just trying to work out if its real or not. Cheers, Kyle

Got bmc ram air on mine. Dont really rate it to be honest. Lot of money for nothing although mine came with the car so cant complain too much.

How is a bmc ram air lol?
It's an over priced air filter mate, forum fags will tell you they're the best thing since sliced bread
But in all honesty, most decent filters with a decent cold air feed will do the same job, not getting a noticable grain from one anyway

if it genuine bmc it will be stamped at both ends saying bmc i have one on the vts and looks good but tried different types of filters and didnt notice anything between them mine was on the car when i bought it as well so cant grumble im sure a cheap carbon look a like off fleabay with a 2.99 bmc cda sticker would do the same job

Check the filter inside and this should say round the edge BMC filters.. Mines nice its great as its not really induction noise more Cam noise, sounds sweet.

I've never understood all the hype over BMC etc. I had a few filters/ set ups on my vts, probably the best one was a Green panel filter and a piece of cheap ducting to the airbox. Cost me about £40 all in too!

Cheers guys. It was on egay and the seller was wanting a buy it now of £60 but when I questioned about the labelling Eric got no reply. Also had in the description that the 90 degree silicon hose attached was originally £80. Think they are talking s**t. Didnt bid and ended up going for £40 inc P+P. was thinking of getting a green panel filter. Does removing some kind of box help with air or noise? Cant remember the name of it.

i rated mine, but at the end of the day with a cold air feed its still tiny gains your not going to feel so if moneys tight spend it on better suited mods.

Decent panel filter and CAF will be same if not better, and cost less.
