what 16v 4 branch mani do people recomened for a very low car? as in which manifolds have the flange level rather than at an angle if that makes sense? and ive read/heard that a 4-2-1 is shorter ( downwards ) than a 4-1 if that also makes any sense haha?
cheers:y:

4-2-1 usually gives more clearance due to the collector underthe sump being small. Ive got a raceland and its not that much lower than the sump to be honest

Im sure you will find one matey they are kicking about all the time. I think you will crack it no matter which one you get though tbh matey honestly. Mines scrapped loads from being fit to my car and im only down 60mm

Get somewhere like powerflow to bend you a pipe the same shape as the mani. Then we can cut it in half length ways and weld it to the mani to double the thickness and give you at least some sort of protection from cracking.

thats what im worried about, as the standard exhasut mani currently literally scrapes along the floor no matter how careful i am!

Geldard road mate at alba tyres. The bloke there use to work for some big stainless exhaust company, they will be able to sort you out with a correct pipe and stuff.

As said Ali 4-1 is a definite no, as I found out with the holes I made. I'm thinking about getting some sort of plate made up for my 4-2-1 also.
