I had a miss fire on 2 injectors 1 needed replacing but I cleaned the other just by blasting it with carb cleaner. Worked a treat.
As for taking them off/out its pretty straight forward. As long as you know what they are just take off everything in the way .
Took me less than an hour and I know nothing about engines

At my college they had an injector testing unit, as far as Im aware quiet a few garages should have them. Not only can it clean your injectors but also tests them for leaks.
I'm gonna find a garage that has one and ask to use it for £10.
Quick and easy way to clean and test my injectors.
I personally wouldn't recommend those injector cleaner additives you can add to your fuel, quite a lot of speculation to whether they work or not.

Found a guy who has an ANSU (anus) machine which tests the flow rate, lets you check the spray patterns, and can ultrasonically clean them. So Im going to give that a go! :)

I used mad professor off the forums - he posted on 205drivers.
Paid £10 and claimed back 1cc, so mine were pretty clean anyway! was a good service though!
