I posted this on 106 owners, but its pretty good info.
Info is from francaise de mecanique (aka Dorvin - the people who make the engines) and Peugeot Citroen Moteurs. This is for the latest verisons of these engines, but it should give you an idea of where the torque band etc is on the old stuff (As there still pretty much the same silver top engine, but engine management will probably be a bit different).
