Alright guys, in july my insurance should drop down to around £54 p/m for my little 1.1, i want to upgrade but part of me is thinking just keep my current car for as long as it will survive and save for a nice vtr etc end of this year or next.
I am running a 'Custom' exhasut that i wish to decat. The exhaust was made up for a mark 2 VTR - Peco bigbore 4 backbox welded onto the mid section with a silencer and decatted.
What are the options of decatting a cat thats in the manifold. I heard the mark 1 vtr manifolds kit the oil filter. Is the any other way apart from bashing the internals out?
By the looks of it the cat is on the downpipe from the manifold - would i unscrew that and replace it with a standard pipe?
As you can see i only have a slight clue what i'm doing so any help would be appciated.
