Suspension Help Please

Hi guys im currently running some bilstein GrpN front shocks with 40-50mm apex springs i beleive but really unhappy with the stiffness but height mainly.

I know alot of people use faulkners for track use with these but not sure which to get, im ideally wanting a tiny little softer on the front but mainly another 10mm drop.

If you're after handling that height looks bang on tbh. Any lower and you'll just make it crashy IMO.

When it was previously 60mm on the front it turnt in much better and less understeer without the back twitching either was really tight!?

Can a mod move this to suspenion and performance please?

if you want softer the off the shelf faulkners arent for you

as for the extra 10mm youll need new dampers to do that
the internal bump stops on group ns are too big to go that low

Cheers pud i want to keep the bilsteins on ideally, worse come to worse ill swap them with the green one and have that on bilsteins, cheers anyway

you can,t alter the front ride height and not alter the rear and expect it to turn in and grip the same .
when it was lower at front ,then the back was higher in relation to the front than it is now --by not adjusting rear ro suit new front height you have also moved weight from back to front .
did you have same wheels +tyre size when it was lower ,as tyre profile will alter ride as well
also make of spring could be making the difference as well .I don,t believe the springs you have are a good match to the dampers

I also beleive the springs are not a good match but they came with the setup so cant be all that bad, when it was lower on the front the tyre size and alloys where the same aswell as the rear height being the same and rear dampers, only over thing i changed was polybushed lower arms and 283 brakes

yes so if you have not raised the rear to match the rise in front height ,then the front to rear balance of weight will be different/wrong
it is sitting too low ar rear --should be 15mm higher at jacking points at rear than at front
