Just wondering if anyone on here has used a cooper s charger on a 106. Are there any off the shelf brackets to fit one or would you need a custom job? I knkq gmc do one for rotrex but the cooper charger wojld be alot cheaper! Thanks

Copper chargers are shite, no off shelf brackets I know of but it's been done a lot, the gains aren't that great but it will go faster

If you check the std output of the the mini with the eaton charger
14psi of boost =160bhp on slightly larger CC engine than a saxo
a saxo vts running rotrex +7psi =180 bhp
thats why i don,t use them

Be interesting to see the dyno sheets for both, i get what your saying but more power in one place doesn't equal a better car. What rpm do you make boost on both etc. Centrifugal from my understanding do not have the low end a roots type has.
I would prefer a lower starting linear power than a peaky later power band. But this is all based on not seeing any data so if the dyno says rotrex still better ill stfu

what other superchargers can be used on the vts engine that would actually be worth it? apart from the gmc one?

The mini has a stupid shaped inlet as well. Theres a similar one off a mercedes which is an easier fit. How about looking at the new ones on the Golf 1.4 turbo/supercharger combo?
