helpvbig loss of power and my exhaust is gone crazy

i was driving today and my car just lost all its power and the exhaust was fcking loud can some one help me out and tell wats happened as i dnt have a clue cheers

could be but i dnt see why the exhaust being fucked would effect my power loss

If the exhaust breaks anywhere especially at the manifold end of things you loose all the compression in it therefore alot of power

That happened 2 my old furio,the exaust had snapped infront of the cat.Made a right noise and lost all of its power.I had to buy a new cat in the end.

Best bet is to limp it into a garage and see what they can do about it.....

If your lucky (and this is unlikely) some of the bolts holding the sections of exhaust together have worked loose, if not its a hole or crack somewhere in the system in which case its a new exhaust

my dad seems to think that it could be something cylinders.how easy is it to check the spark plugs?

spark pugs wouldnt make exhaust noise...unless thers alot of unburnt fuel getting in, spark plugs are below the fuel rail or whatever its called they have green plastic caps on them on my car anyways

theres a lot of fuel coming out the exhaust

if theres alot of fuel in the exhaust it aint firing on all clyinders probaly only 2 that would explain the power loss and noise, probably your plugs

i hope its my plugs. there only cheap but i might get some performance ones. how much would i be looking at

could be or your cat has collapsed, thatd cause alot of problems with backpresure. the gasses cant get away and just keep building up. seriously get it checked pal!!!

its going in the garage 2moro morning dnt think its the head gasket because it would be overheating if it was and there would be black smoke out the exhaust. i hope its not to expensive

don't bother with performance sparks mate, no need for them...spark is a spark end of the day

got it back its all done it was the coil going to the cylinders was broke or something like tht but the new spark plugs have gone in and it feels like it reving better and smother

did you go for ancy plugs or standard ones in the end mate?
