Vtr van

Alright folks. Picked up my vtr mk2 engine today, everything included even 4branch Mani for £150 :) it'll soon be going on my pug partner 1.4 van. I've been looking at both engines and everything looks identical apart from the main wiring which is on a "screw" onto the van loom. Both looms have 3 plugs into the ecu. I'm not a master at electronics, so would it be Easier (and work) if I used the pug loom on the vtr engine????

are the chassis multi plugs differnt? i wouldve thought the vtr engine would go straight in, but if they are differnt fit the vtr engine with ecu and loom and cut the van chassis plug off and splice it on to the vtr loom i wouldve thought

id be suprised if you could use the vtr exhuat manifold though probably will have to stick with the 1.4 one
