Hey i just was reading through posts there and found that the vtr has 7lbs of torque less than the vts?! vts 107 and vtr 100lbs?

So anyway will a mk1 vtr silvertop wi forced induction,4-2-1 manifold, magnex de-cat and magnex cat back what would the torque and 0-60 be now? any ideas?

cheers:drink:

I'd say around an 8-10bhp increase with those mods, but it should rev a lot better/freely, not sure about torque though.

yeh i think i'l be around the 100bhp mark but just wondering 0-60 mainly, what you think, low 9 seconds same as mk vtr? or quicker as i should hav more torque than a mk2 ?

it gonna be hard to tell as every car is different from manifacturer. if you could go on a strip with 0-60 then know of someone who has you can compare times. your could of done a before and after to see the gains on your car but thats prob to late now lol

The torque between the MK1 and MK2 VTR's is very similar (only about 1 Nm in it) but the MK1 occurs at 3000 and the MK2 happens at 3500.

Your HP will increase with those mods, naturally lol. which means your torque will also increase however you may find it peaks higher up the rev range although not massively :Y:
