As above, I have a saxo Vts fully prepped road legal track car which is currently on eBay. I've spent a fortune in money and time on this car but its time to either sell/brake for parts or "may" keep it if anyone can give me any good advice on a 172 conversion. I could do the build myself so labour cost isn't a big influence.
Has anyone done the conversion ?
Cheers

As in Clio 172 engine into a saxo? Would think a brick load of fab would be needed, isn't a straight swap at all

buy a 172 and prep that instead or modify the engine thats already in the saxo to give a similar if not better power output. The F4R from a clio is not going to fit in the saxo without a lot of fabrication, and for really not a lot of benefit considering what can be done to the TU engine already fitted

What goodies you got if you were breaking?

Thanks for your reply. I'm running a standard freshly built engine with an induction kit and a 4 2 1 mani to a straight through exhaust. How much power could I expect from a remap and cams only. Which cams would you suggest and would the head need any mods.
Can the std Ecu be mapped ?
Thanks for your help
