Hey guys,
Does anyone have a picture of the INSIDE of a BMC carbon enclosed filter?
ive just bought one second hand for £30 but not sure if its genuine or not.
the enclosure itself appears to be real carbon and has a sticker saying "BMC air filter" but other ive seen have CDA wrote on :/
inside is what looks like a KnN cone.
Any help would be good :)
Thank you.

Na they are all really bad filters i got told to scrap mine by RS tuning in Leeds because it was restrictive and that was on a cammed vtr.

Yep theyre shit
I had one on my cammed vts and it made a massive restriction
Best setup for power imo is the standard 16v box with a straight cold air feed and a k&n filter

hmmm.
ive been on the BMC website and you can buy a replacement filter for the CDA.
ive measure the box up and one will fit.
You guys think that would be ok?

Did they say what the best set up is? Just a standard air box with green cotton filter?
I was under the impression that the bmc was awesome, I use one but I've never had a vtr with the standard box
Cheers

Didn't say but i fitted the standard box with a green filter. I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that the bmc was a load of shit now and only got its name from looking good and being carbon.
