mk2 vtr race tube

hi guys I don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but in my quest to fit my backbox I was checking out various centre pipes at my local parts store and noticed that the vtr and furio centre pipes are exactly the same except the vtr has a silencer and the furio doesn't. so for anybody looking for a "race tube" you can save yourself a small fortune by buying a furio centre pipe. as I picked one up today for just £23 rather than the £60 odd they are on ebay.

46mm bore on both. Better to go to the 50mm bore like the VTS though...

With the Vts tube, would a standard VTR back box fit?

doesn't the vts have the cat under the car though? making the centre pipe shorter unless you get a decat?
don't quote me on that, but im pretty sure I read that somewhere
