I have been told by a quick fit that if I put a induction kit on my car it will break it? Is this true?

Best advice and anyone will say is avoid them at all costs.

Run a performance filter in the standard airbox for the best / cheap setup. An induction kit generally just draws in more warm air than cold, cancelling out any gain.

Absolute rubbish its not possible. Ive got a furio and just brought one off ebay for about 30 quid. It says its for a vtr but fits fine and sounds the nuts. Car runs exactley the same as i did before, but i only wanted one for the sound. you wont get any performance gains, not that youl notice anyway.
Moral of the story..... stay away from quick fit, they employ retards!
