Hi i want to ask i saw a tu5jp4 from a xsara today and i think if i take the head and put it on my saxo vts would i get a power gain because jp4 has biger valves?

From what I know the jp4 has a 110bhp in comparison to the 118/120bhp the j4 unit has.the jp4s has 120+ bhp I believe.
What you have to do is fit the jp4 head and then fit j4 internals to give a good power gain.

But instead of fitting the 705 cams you can fit the std cams from the j4 head.

And is it hard to fit a jp4 head or it is just unbolting and bolting the new head

Maybe can somebody tell my is it worth to buy a tu5jp4 from a xsara for a 100??
And maybe somebody has a tut about putting the head on the saxo?

hi similar question,i have a xsara vtr 1.6 16v and wanted to put the saxo vts head on.would I gain more bhp and if so how much?also want to fit saxo vts inlet manifold and would that give me more bhp and how many??

I think its best to put the cams springs and everything from the vts on to your head. Because the jp4 head has bigger valves.

I got told it was a straight swap.and what about the inlet manifold,would I see any gains?
