I have a mk2 vts engine with a mk1 1.1, would i be able to get a interior loom out a mk2 1.1 to use with my vts engine OR would i need the vts interior loom? (i have engine loom) :p

Hi mate, you either need to get the correct type interior loom. as you say from a mk2 1.1/the same age that the vts is. Or you need your loom splicing.

As said above you need the wright loom, first identify what engine loom you have don't worry about the ecu end, the other end is what you need to check there are 3 types found in saxo's (BIG PLUG LATER PIN LAYOUT BIG PLUG EARLYER PIN LAYOUT.. These both look the same but the pins inside are in different places so make sure you check. Then there is small plug check what you have then check what's in your car you may be lucky and find they match but if not then the easiest things to do would be either splice the looms using the pinout diagrams posted up on here, or get a engine loom from a vts with the same body plug as your car...
