Evening all contemplating getting a vts lump to put in my 2000 reg vtr. Firstly will i need the three pin or single pin loom and ecu? And can anyone recommend a garage/specialist in the Staffordshire area to do it, also any rough ideas on how much i should be paying?

Your vtr should be three plug therefore you'll need a three plug S loom and engine. Otherwise it'll be a headache.

Hi there matey. Chris here owner of BeanieSport in Milton keynes. We've currently got a Saxo Vts in our workshop with rear end damage which we'll be selling the engine etc from as a drive in drive out conversion. If you're at all interested drop me a pm and we'll discuss needs, prices etc.
Cheers. Chris

2000 plate should be crossover so could be single plug or 3 plug best to check what you have first tbh, normally 2000 is single plug though.

you may also have the crossover loom instead of the actual 3 plug. That means your big plug which goes to your interior loom will be different.

Spoke to a few people on here about getting it done, just need find out what the insurance difference would be compared to going for a standard VTS. Im 23 and about get my first years NCB, so insurance had been a dear do the past 9/10 month.
