Where do you guys generally take these from?

The oil returns to the sump i know that, some take the oil from the head correct? I wont be using the original switch on the block so could take it from there.

Also where would you take the water from, some say take it before the thermostat using an 8mm hose, so coukd i drill and tap my thermostat housing?

The water fine to be returned into the header tank correct?

I hear alot about oil restriction, restrictor bolts ect... Anyone shed some light on that?

Take oil from pressure switch. Return to sump above oil level. Be carful with oil as these engines run at higher pressure then most turbos so you may have to restrict it down. Its just a washer with a small hole, nothing fancy. Water take from heater matrix pipes.

Well is there a difference in water pressure or tempreature from matrix hose and the stat housing. Since thats where the matrix hose runs to anyway.

They are my oil lines, im assuming the last one is the oil from the block to the turbo one as it has an inline filter?

My water feeds are the heater feeds fromt stat and water pump ( i dont have a heater)
Oil feed is from block as head feed has a pressure switch to shut down ecu should there be a fault

Thats how the hose works coming OUT of the heater matrix INTO the stat housing.

Could i just insert a T peice and a silicone joiner? With a 8mm feed to the turbo? Obviously the T peice can go anywhere along the return hose between the matrix and the stat housing
