Hi guys, new to this. Got a VTR W reg.
so basically knocked my exhaust reversing and shunted everything forward... Replaced the gasket and it was fine for a couple of days, and now its blowing again where manifold joins the downpipe... Is my manifold knackered, or do i need a new down pipe.. Or both?? Appreciate all help. Thanks :)

Have you checked it to make sure it's not cracked?

Can't see any cracks on either, bolts are quite bent though?

Put new studs in.

Reckon a new gasket, and new studs could sort it?

If the studs are bent your not going to get the right torque to seal the manifold.

Do you mean the bolts are bent that clamp the manifold to the downpipe?

Edit, read it wrong. Thought you meant block to manifold, I'd still replace the bolts if their bent.

Yeah the ones that clamp it are bent, got an exhaust bandage atm. So a new manifold and bolts should make it okay?

It's hard to say with out seeing it, but if you've got bent bolts on an exhaust get them changed.
