Its not difficult to pay someone to do this, although i'd ditch the ecu and loom and run an aftermarket ecu for simplicity.

i do believe that the ew10 (i presume you got an ew10?) will fit without much bother in my xsara, maybe some bits from that side might help you out, but i don't see why it shouldn't go in with a bit of fiddling

Xsara was designed to take the XU engine.

Just a little bit of reading for you to look at .... stick with TU series engine there is good potential for tuning but as all engines there are limits!
You would be easier fitting an Mi16 engine and even more so into a pug 205 to be fair as there is more room under the bonnet for a bigger engine!
Recently swapped a TU1JP in my saxo for a TU5JP 1.6 8v out of a 206, entirely on my own and I have to say .... what a bitch of a job!
If you want different, maybe put a Bmw Mini cooper S works engine in there ... can't be too different from the new PSA engines as they seem to have some kind of thing going on at the moment ???

true, good point, but the ew10 is found in the vts xsara ph2, but now i think of it, it might be a bit far off...

Physically its a tall engine. I'd probably flog the engine and go Honda B16 for a saxo.

If everyone searched, there would be no conversation, not that its ever good on here anyway...But yeah, Top guy Ross - Great way to be a moderator, fantastic job there.
Maybe he just wanted to talk to someone about their experience fitting a 206 engine in.
Shock! someone asked a question on a forum ;)

just go and get to googling man, its a bit of a dark corner and unless you find someone else who has done the same, your gonna have to do a lot of brushing up, we all have to do it with projects like this, there's no other answer for it.
just find some guys who have done it before, ask them to help you out with a bit of insight, get a plethora of engine mounts and get to it.
experimentation will be the main course for you

I've an iPhone with a bad protective screen and when writing quickly I sometimes miss letters resulting in a miss spelling of a word. I'm so sorry this offends you but please do remove the rod from your arse if this is all your worried about. My advice was to the original poster so if the original poster could not understand my post I am sorry.
