Hi guys,
What gains am i likely to see from decat manifold, cat back system, uprated cams and remap?
Isit worth doing these mods in terms of power? not cost
1.6 vtr phase 2
Thanks!

Depends what cam, Newman phase 3 cam with the decat etc then be 15-20bhp gain I'd say.
I've got all that on mine and its worth it I'd say as long as you can get all the parts cheap!
If you're spending like £300+ then just get a 16v because you'll have the same power from a standard 16v and then you can cam that, where as you'll near enough be at the limit of the 8v without going forced induction

^^this. Been tempted to cam my 8v lump but I'm just going to wait and 16v mine.
For all the money to get a little bhp gain on a 8v lump your better off starting with a 16v and going from there.
