Wanting to fit a Clio spin on, oil filter to my VTS turbo engine. I know they fit but is there any reason why I shouldnt? They're shorter so it gives me that bit extra room for the turbo/downpipe etc etc.
Cheers

I have one,no downsides from the infos I could gather, you may want to shorten the service intervals is the only difference.

Seems to work for Renaults! I carry genuine renault oil filters (http://www.kamracing.co.uk/car-tuning/renault/renault-clio-mk2/engine/oil-filters/renault-clio-mk2-renault-oem-oil-filter-rs-172-182.html) in stock

Just an advice for these that mount this filter,if you're changing both oil and filter do not put more than 3L of oil otherwise the level will go above the max mark (VTS 16v).

citroen sport themselves have used these on the c2 rallycars as they retained both heat exchanger and air-oil coolers.

and will change oil +filter every event or 300miles
shorten oil change by half anyway at least with turbo
