saxo vtr power steering not working

hi iv just bought a mk1 vtr a got it cheap the powersteering isnt working the heaters and rear demister are working fine iv checked fuses they fine, any ideas relay maybe?

I had the same problem on mine before you go spending money on a pump check the live and earth connections for corrosion, I cleaned mine up and it's been spot on ever since!!

i kinda have this issue, but instead of not working mine kinda leaks and then makes a wooshing water nose when turning at slow speeds
