Hi all. On the gearbox side of my head on my 2001 vts, I have a metal convoluted tubing exiting into a pipe running along front of the head, above ex manifold. Is this something to do with emissions and can I disconnect it and fit a blanking plate and it run ok? When I had the head off and valves out, I noticed, in exhaust ports, there was a small hole in each leading into head casting to this convoluted pipe. Thanks for any light shedded.

Yes it is emissions based & can be blanked off mate.

Brilliant Stevo! Thanks very much. Couldn't find much on it. Guess something to do with an air pump or something?
