Cherry bomb, mk2 Citroen Saxo

Hello I bought a 3.25slash cherry bomb exhaust for my Saxo I took it to the shop and they said they can't fit it as there would be a gap between the existing pipe and the new back box, there saying I need to add more pipe, I'm guessing what I'm missing is a reducer as I didn't buy one with it? Could anyone confirm this before I waste money on a reducer, many thanks

Tbh most exhaust places don't want to touch aftermarket exhausts.Take it to a back street garage,but be prepared to be called a chav.Cherry bombs are stupidly loud.

Do you know the diameter of the stock exhaust on a Saxo desire? I need to order a reducer but I don't really understand all these measurements I'm new to the whole car tune stuff

I have a cherry bomb sitting in my shed which I never fitted because I was in the same boat as you. It had no brackets to mount it, needed a reducer and some extra pipe welding on the extend it aso it would stick out the back rather than be hidden under the car. I sacked it off and bought a second hand backbox off a lad on here and tbh was probably the cheap and better option. Gna fit the cherry bomb to my lawnmower instead

I was thinking about sending it back and buying a Backbox made specifically for my car now I know I'm not the only one who's having trouble I may do that, thankyou
