Hi All

Since I have some trouble with the current engine (its a TU1M SPI engine with Bosch Motronic MA3.1) i was thinking about maybe replacing it with a never engine type.

What came to mind was the 1.1 HFX engine with MPI.

As far as I understood (could see from Autodata / google) is that I should acquire the following :

- The engine (obviously)
- Alternator (mine has a V belt so that would not fit)
- ECU
- ECU wiring
- Fuel Pump (Autodata says that the fuel pump on the SPI engine puts out lower preassure than for the MPI engine)

Is there anything else that should be acquired ?

Thanks very much in advance

You need the entire loom for the engine. Not sure if you can easily mate it to the multiplug for the interior loom either...

Thanks for Your answer. I must have forgotten about that too. I guess there is few more issues, so I'm just gonna look for a replacement TU1M engine.
