Hoffmann centre section "race tube"

Has anyone bought/fitted one of these? I just got one cos it's cheap and cheerful.

Wanting to know whether it made a half decent noise and if you had any issues with fitting it (don't worry I bought a U-Clamp for it).

you will loose mid range torque removing centre box

Didn't know that. Cheers saxoman, I'll see how much it bothers me. I'm guessing the only 'benefit' to a straight through pipe is noise?
