Hello,
Shortly I'll be rebuilding the head on my current engine + the bottom end is having some rods put in, by a local firm - as they need a different bush.

Question is, what and where to people get their bits?

I need valve stem oil seals, but they come in random numbers from 106parts. I'll need 16, so is the best place Citroen or Peugeot direct?

As I've never gone as far as this, are there any other perishable items that could do with a refresh? Crank seal? or any gaskets that might be required?

Any locations for purchasing appreciated and any lists of parts to refresh as part of the process.

Sweet! I'll order them at the weekend.

In terms of the other questions... can you answer John? do I need anything else?

If crank seals are not leaking now -probably no need to change them - large one at rear is £20 + and if crank hasn,t got a groove init it should be fine --but will not harm to change all the seals ,cam seals crank both ends ,new head bolts etc
