Wireing fan into emerald ecu

Hey just wondering what is needed to connect the radiator fan to my loom coming from my emerald that sandy brown made the part on my loom is the postive is it just a case of putting the postive on to the fan and earthing the other wire on the fan

only if you want to fry your ecu
that wire is only low current --you fit a 40 amp realy with power feed to fan going through the relay main cicuit --the signal wire from the ecuconnects to the coil side of the relay turns the relay on +therfore in turn the fan
