you can go to the complication of getting flushing oil --or just use cheap oil and change it+filter a couple of times a few days apart
flushing oil --if car has not been looked after might cause more problems

I wouldnt bother with oil flushing, use cheap diesel grade oil and change it after a low mileage/time frame or on an engine you care about if i'm honest.
I've used oil flush in the past and it turned a relatively clean running engine into one that would emit a few puffs of burnt oil smoke upon start up, clearly all the old crud was keeping the valve stem seals sealing.
That said I may try and use a diesel fuel flush in an old scrapper I have at the moment to see what the outcome is.

Another :y: for just putting cheap oil & new filter, get engine nice & warm, burn fingers undoing sump plug, scold fingers as hot oil comes out, then leave for 20 minutes to drain, refill.

^this, then clean up all the oil that inevitably missed your drain tray.
