This is posted on behalf of a friend so bare with ME.

Basically he's bought a saxo VTR, it's been turbo converted with the CITUNING GT17 turbo kit. It has standard injectors an running on standard ECU an map. Obviously the car is holding back as has no extra fueling or management to run the car effectively. He's currently looking at lots of ways to make it run correctly... Can someone point us in th right direction and some advice. Obviously there is the stand alone management route but he wants to keep costs down as this is just a fun car. 5th injector mf2/sigcon route, will this work? Some explanation on it? What about an adjustable FPR?

Basically what's the cheapest effective way to sort out the fuelling to remove the flatspots as it's currently only a tad quicker than a standard VTR

Engine also has Newman PH3 cam and vernier pulley and rallye inlet

Thanks in advance

mf2 no longer made
your choices are chipwizards remap -- or an aem FIc controller--but you would still need to adjust that on a dyno or buy a w/b lambda gauge unit --so you could what your alterations were doing --so how much cheaper it would be than chip wizards remap is doubtful

I had a look at an MP7.2 file (like is used in this car) last night and the MAP sensor calibrations aren't done the same as the later BOSCH ECUs so it would unfortunately be more of a development job than a mapping job because the calibrations from the later ones that I have already done can't be used in that ECU version, so I'd have to do a lot of digging through the numbers.

That said, I looked through the rest of the code and, with some restructuring, it does look doable.

u might try an "Rising rate adjustable Fuel pressure regulator"
you can ajust how much fuel you want when boost comes in.

it may suit your goals, but anyways you can't tune your ignition map so maybe it will knock
