View Full Version : Saxo VTS Rocker Cover Oil Breather Problem
Been racking my brains as to why this is happening and can't find the solution or an answer, so hoping you guys could shed some light !
I'm getting massive amounts of oil coming out of the rocker cover breather. I can do 4/6 laps at Cadwell and my catch tank is completely full !
Any suggestions why it's doing this ? As it's doing my head in !

Head gasket issues, exhaust gas pressurising oil
Head gaskets been replaced about 400 miles ago that's the only thing, and not getting any collant/oil mixture. My thoughts are pointing towards the rings. Because evey now and then if you let off from around 6k and roll it down to 3k it puffs out a big cloud of blue smoke, and sometimes when letting off from full throttle. Just want to be certain it's the rings before I dive in and change them

you changed cam box covers to plastic ones?
check that the big breather hole lines up with one in head
do a cylinder leakage check --not compression check
can you feel large pressure coming from breather pipe ? on idle and worse as you rev it ?
